He's making a list. He's checking it twice. He's going to find out who's naughty and should be stuffed in a sack then beaten with a switch before being fed to murderous elves. It's Krampus! From Mike Dougherty (Trick 'r Treat) comes another contemporary holiday horror classic. Rachel and Stephen break this one down. They talk about how Dougherty uses the folklore and myth behind the creature. They also chat about how the holidays can bring out the worst in everybody: from being short-tempered to feeling overwhelmingly lonely. There's talk of the gorgeous creature designs and how there's still plenty of holiday cheer and dark humor to go along with some truly horrific moments (kids getting swallowed whole, headfirst for instance. It's a fun chat, sure to keep you warm as you stoke the fire to keep those naughty elves out of your house.
